Welcome to the WindWise Website

WindWise is one of Ireland's leading professional windsurfing schools. The school is located on Achill Island, which is situated off the west coast of county Mayo. We run windsurfing courses at every level of the sport. Our beginner lessons take place in Keel lake which provides a safe and perfect learning location. Our intermediate and advanced lessons can make use of a number of quality locations around the Island, which includes 5 blue flag beaches accommodating any wind direction. We are now providing stand up paddle boarding (SUP) lessons along with rentals for anyone interested in trying this amazing new sport.

Advanced windsurfing courses: We are running advanced courses each weekend based around our new approach to coaching called "Taking it to the next plane" check back for more details and weekend package deals including accommodation.

Multi Activity courses: We can provide a multi-activity course for groups with up to 20 students. On this course you will experience windsurfing, sailing, surfing and stand up paddle boarding. This course is excellent for large groups on weekend or day trips to Achill Island.
